Donna Muncy from Crum, Wayne County, West Virginia

Muncy recently contacted the photographer, decades after their initial meeting. She reported, along other news, that her twenty-three year old son acquired a substantial education, won a statewide contest for computer technology, but never-the-less decided to work in mining. It is a decision his cousins have also made; all found mine work to be the best paid work in the area.
